This model is Basic model and used to measure MFI value of Polymers as per Method A, this is having manual process to cut the sample on specific interval of time on buzzer indication with Knife. Then we have to weigh the sample and can calculate MFI value Manually.
This model is Semi-Automatic model and used to measure MFI value of Polymers as per Method A, this is having Motorized process to cut the sample on specific interval of time as per set value of Time. Then we have to weigh the sample and can calculate MFI value Manually.
This model is Automatic model and used to measure MFI value of Polymers as per Method A, this is having Motorized process to cut the sample on specific interval of time as per set value of Time. It also have balance to weigh the extruded sample on pan and programmed Microcontroller will calculate MFI value with each cut and also calculate Average weight of sample & MFI value. It is having compute software and connected with PC to operate with software and save the reports in PC.
This model is Fully Automatic model and used to measure MFI value of Polymers as per Method A, B, C and MVR as per Method B. It can calculate Intrinsic Viscosity (IV) for PET. Calculate Melt Density at specific interval of time. This is having Touch HMI and PLC controlled operation. Motorized process to cut the sample on specific interval of time as per set value of Time. It also has encoders to measure the travel of Piston. Auto Loading of weights as per set Load can be applied. It is having computer software and connected with PC to operate with software and save the reports in PC.
Saumya's MFI (Melt Flow Index Tester) is used to determine the flow properties of thermoplastic materials by measuring the rate at which molten polymer flows through a standard die under specified temperature and load conditions. The result, known as the Melt Flow Index (MFI) or Melt Flow Rate (MFR), provides a direct indication of the material’s viscosity and processing behavior.
Our Melt Flow Indexer is designed for accurate and reliable testing of polymers such as PE, PP, PVC, ABS, and other thermoplastics. The instrument operates by heating the sample to a predefined temperature and applying a constant load, allowing the molten material to extrude through a standard die over a specified period.
The system is equipped with precise temperature control, automatic timing, and advanced measurement mechanisms to ensure highly repeatable and consistent results. It is widely used for quality control, material comparison, and process optimization in plastic manufacturing industries.
To meet diverse testing requirements, Saumya’s Melt Flow Indexer is available in multiple models, including MFI-AE, MFI-AC, MFI-AFA, and MFI-S2200, each designed to cater to different levels of automation, accuracy, and testing convenience.
